Since 1925, the Compagnie Sucrière de Kwilu-Ngongo has been cultivating sugar cane in the heart of Africa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Today, the sugar cane is still transported by train through the 12,000 hectares of fields to the sugar-distillery where the rum is produced. Delicate and tasty, this amber rum with notes of banana and yellow fruit takes on vanilla, woody, spicy and chocolate accents. The bottles of Kwilu Rhum Ambré are 100% recycled. A rare type of glass and technique was used to create the bottles with a special surface and texture, a world first! The identity of the Congolese territory and Kwilu-Ngongo, formerly known as the Valley of the Elephants, is reflected in the brand image. This premium amber single estate rum is offered in 70 cl bottles.
